Introducing CoverLite™

CoverLite™ is part of the APS rooftop safety range, designed to reduce fall risks when working near fragile skylights. It’s made from tough Glass Reinforced Plastic (GRP), with each panel weighing just 12.6kg. This makes it light enough to handle and install by one person.

Each unit features a lattice design that allows natural light to pass through while forming a temporary physical barrier over vulnerable openings. For wider skylights, multiple panels can be linked in a line. A separate fixing kit provides brackets, rivets, and straps to ensure a secure, weather-resistant fit.

Tested and certified to ACR Red Book (Class B) and BS EN 1873, CoverLite has been engineered to remain in place under impact and challenging weather conditions. It helps you stay compliant without sacrificing speed or convenience.

Ideal for maintenance, repair or inspection work, CoverLite offers a practical, reusable solution that helps APS customers work safely at height and with confidence.

No – CoverLite is a temporary cover intended for short-term use during rooftop work.

  2. Can the panels be reused?

Yes – they are made from GRP and built for repeat use, provided they pass pre-use checks.

  3. Can I walk or stand on CoverLite?
