The absence of a compliant fall protection system carries significant hidden costs. The inability to carry out regular maintenance on this site created significant damage to the fabric of the building and water ingress – causing expensive disruption to operations and damage to valuable assets.
APS consulted with the client to establish the maintenance requirements of the building. A roof condition survey was undertaken and a roof-access strategy plan provided. Installation included 3M’s DBI Sala RoofSafe horizontal-lifeline system allowing regular maintenance to be carried out and re-sealing of all gutter joints with Giromax’s Seamsil300 system, preventing further water ingress issues.
