Construction Site Safety
Due to the many high risk activities undertaken in the construction sector, it is little wonder that falls from height contribute to more fatalities and serious accidents than any other work incident. There are many excellent products on the market that provide collective fall protection during construction works, but at times a fall arrest solution will be required.
Uniline have developed the following products for construction site safety:
- Uni-16 Temporary System - to provide a continuous horizontal lifeline solution for multiple construction workers. The unique synthetic cable system, developed around the company’s award winning Uni-16 permanent horizontal lifeline, can span up to 50m in a single span and support multiple workers dependent upon site conditions.
- Deadweight Anchor – a temporary weighted anchor for use by one person that can be positioned on flat roofs. A versatile solution. The deadweight anchors can also be used as end anchors for the temporary Uni-16 system.
To complete the package for temporary construction site fall protection Uniline can also offer safety harnesses, lanyards and retractable fall arrest devices.
When using a fall arrest system, you must make provision for rescue in the event of a fall. Uniline can offer you the new and unique Liftevac product, which uses an intuitive ratchet system to enable a worker to be raised and lowered to a position of safety.
